On March 11, 2020 The US-Algeria Business Council and the Bilateral US Arab Chamber of Commerce, with the support of the Embassy of Algeria in Washington DC, will host the 2020 US-Algeria Energy Forum during the CERAWeek International Conference, featuring, Mr. Toufik HAKKAR, the new President & CEO of Sonatrach at the Westin Galleria Hotel in Houston, Texas.
The 2020 US-Algeria Energy Forum will be an opportunity for Algeria and the United States to reaffirm its energy trade links. The energy industry is the most substantial sector of trade between Algeria and the United States. American companies operating in Algeria have a reputation for working closely with local communities, employing Algerian laborers and maintaining a visible and generous commitment to corporate citizenship projects throughout the country.

The program provides a comprehensive insight into the global and regional energy future by addressing key issues—from markets and geopolitics to technology, project costs, energy and the environment, finance, operational excellence and cyber risks.
CERAWeek fosters a culture of idea exchange, learning, and relationship-building between industry, government, and society to address the global energy future. The event brings together 4000 global industry leaders and policymakers from over 75 countries and the entire energy value chain. The connections made between key energy stakeholders at CERAWeek lead to year-round dialogue and collaboration and are key reasons participants return again and again.
The deadline for registration is February 28, 2020
