September 28-29, 2020, the US-Algeria Business Council with the support of the Embassy of Algeria in Washington DC, will host the 2020 US Algeria Green Economy Forum in Algiers. During this three-day conference, we are mapping our forum around three Sustainable Development Goals as follows:

Day 1 : Recycling including Plastics, Electronics, batteries, Healthcare,
Goal : Sustainable Cities and Communities

Day 2 : Renewable Energies
Goal : Affordable Clean Energy

At the US-Algeria Business Council, we are committed to fostering positive commercial relations between the United States and Algeria, while diversifying trade to include sectors in addition to energy. Algeria needs the change and taking on the challenge of creating sustainable and inclusive communities in Algeria and to help transform the current economy into one that embraces sustainability governance, to become the leader of a Green Economy model that is inclusive and that not only reduces its impact on the environment and in manufacturing but also reduces costs and energy, and creates jobs for its educated, qualified youth population and that makes it “Faster, Stronger, and Better.”
